Andy's passion for fishing and waterfowl hunting was stoked at a young age in the Pacific Northwest. He learned to fly cast in a float tube for trout and began waterfowling on the Puget Sound. Those adventures 20 years ago fueled his desire to be outdoors and learn everything he possibly could, to be as successful as possible. He knew very early on he would make a living in the outdoors.
The Captain has been hunting and fishing the North Carolina waters since 2003 when the Marine Corps stationed him here. He married his wife in 2005, and in 2007 after two combat deployments, he exited the service and they decided to make NC home. He has spent every day possible exploring the backwaters and coast chasing fish and fowl.
Since having his two young sons, Andy's desire to teach and provide others a great experience on the water has become his mission. He also strives to learn something new every single day, "No matter what you're doing or how many times you've done it, there is always something to learn."
His willingness to adapt and take advantage of conditions that arise on the water contributes to his success.
Whatever your skill level may be, he will try to teach you everything he can while making the most out of every situation. Feel free to call him with any questions, and he will tailor a trip to fit your needs.
From the Captain
" First off, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my page. Next, I need to thank my wife for the support, and all of my many friends and mentors that have pushed me to take this journey. I look forward to working as hard as I can to put you on fish, spending time on the water with new friends, making memories, catching trophy fish, and killing ducks. Do not hesitate to call or email with any questions. Thank you all!"
