I was fortunate enough to carry a couple of guys from Philly today, that have never been trophy redfish, or red fishing at all for that matter. The wind was up pretty good even before daylight this morning, and had had switched directions after the major storms we had roll in yesterday. I have 4 rules i tell everyone that i take big drum fishing on popping cork and artificial lures. Sometimes we are fishing a general area and any long cast will do, sometimes we are fishing small bait balls and have to make accurate casts to get bit, lately most of what we are doing is targeting specific schools of menhaden and if you don't make your cast count, you will not get bites! My guys today figured that out pretty quick and adjusted! My two favorite things about things about being a fishing guide are teaching someone a technique and then seeing the fruits of their labor when it all comes together.

USCG OUPV Captain
Everyday on the water is a blessing, Capt. Andy understands this. He works hard to make sure every guest on the boat has the opportunity to be successful, while learning, laughing, and making great memories that will last a lifetime!
Big fish or fishing big, either way, the best way to spend a day
